A must-see historical attraction, the Genesee Country Village and Museum invites guests of all ages to experience history. The museum boasts the third largest collection of historical buildings in the country—over 40 in total. Visitors are welcomed to enjoy a flavor of 19th Century village life as they tour the museum’s furnished and restored buildings, which range from a pioneer homestead to a grand octagon house. The museum also features costumed historic interpreters and visitors can experience over a dozen live demonstrations of everything from throwing pottery to blacksmithing. Other attractions include heirloom gardens, an extensive art collection, and a beautiful nature preserve.

The museum is located at 1410 Flint Hill Road, Mumford, New York 14511. Visit the website for information on upcoming events at www.gcv.org.
